Starting our Travels

We are backdating our blog due to our procrastination. Sorry. We are jerks.

Our biggest regret was working so hard and leaving Michigan so fast. It did not give us down time to emotionally detach ourselves, and get closure. It was very hard to leave our friends and we hope you all enjoy this. I will always remember renting our house and packing up with three weeks left in Michigan. I was awesome to be homeless and crashing with my parents and the Thrills' (Mills'). Thank you so much for your love and hospitality.

We start our road trip in our newly purchased Toyota Highlander and have trouble fitting all our stuff. I convince Meg to consolidate her spice container with the kitchen stuff container and she has enough room for her feet for the drive to Chicago. Good thing we have this 3 hour dry run and are staying with Meg's parents so that we can dump things we thought we would need. We will miss Mary Free Bed, Founder's, and the Mitten! Here is a sunset after wine tasting on Old Mission Peninsula.
